Dig Mandarin

One of the first Chinese websites I ever discovered was Dig Mandarin. This sight has so much information it is absolutely mind-boggling, which is good in that you’ll never run out of Chinese to learn, but you also don’t know where to start.

This section contains a plethora of subsections that will help you master the basics. Even the most advanced Chinese learner will forget these and should brush up on them every once in a while.

If you want a more structured approach to improving on your Chinese, Dig Mandarin also has tons of courses that you can take. Most of them cost between $10 and $20, but there are also free ones that have really good quality. These include:

They also have TONS of video lessons that cover phrases that aren’t really taught in the classroom, but are necessary for conversational speaking. In other words, there are quite a few phrases that almost every beginner knows, but what makes their video lessons special is that they cover every variation of each phrase, as in how else it may be worded. This is really important to know because there’s no guarantee that the phrase you already know will be spoken by everyone in the same way.
